Christian Church In Birmingham Appoints Website Designer From Marketing Quotes Website.

Website designers that have experience in designing websites for churches and christian organisations are hard to find in the sea of information called the internet. This is why a church in Birmingham approached Marketing Quotes, due to a connection through a Christian organisation; as they did not know any web designers in their congregation, and did not have the time to search on the internet. The brief to the web designer was to create a simple CMS website that can be easily updates by the church admin staff, and set up social media links on Twitter and Facebook for building networks.
Part of the strategy of the social media networking is to come closer to other religious organisations (mainly the mosques in the area) due to the high number of other religious organisations in and around Birmingham. The agency selected was done so with website development and social media skills in mind, as they required various systems (for e-marketing of newsletters) to be managed through the website.
A leader from the church commented ‘we would have used someone in our congregation to do the design and production of the website, but although the design is quite simple, we were looking for quite a bit of backend development work to be done. We wanted the agency to set up a social media campaign for us, so that we can build networks with other religious groups around Birmingham and other parts of the local community (such as the local police, community groups etc.).’

We know the agency that they have selected and they have done a lot of church websites in the past, so they are well placed to be able to handle the job. Internet marketing is something we did suggest them considering for additional exposure, but we do not thing they are planning to use the website in such a way.
